‘Should Get Vaccine Out In 2 Years': Adar Poonawalla


As the government's response and public concern over the coronavirus is increasing, the medical community is looking at two aspects. First, how much testing is optimal - should we expand it beyond at-risk populations to flatten the disease curve, or does mass testing burden the healthcare system? Second, where do India and other countries stand in developing a vaccine? People are expecting a vaccine for the coronavirus pandemic. Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine manufacturer, answers concerns over vaccines.
